Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)

The IICRC approved Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) Certification class focuses on the essential technical procedures necessary for effectively restoring environments damaged by fire and smoke.  It also teaches students to integrate these procedures with practical job site management and accurate job pricing strategies.

Emphasis is placed on:  

  • Deodorization principles

  • Restoration Deodorization

  • Restoration chemicals

  • Hazmat safety & hazards

  • Material surfaces & cleaning concerns

  • Wall types- painted, paneled, masonry…

  • Kitchen items, books, fine china & what your options are.

  • Pack out services…. Do it yourself, or hire out?

The Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) class is a Live Stream class held via a Zoom LinkAn email with all links and information, to include the class manual and handouts, will be provided prior to class, along with instructions to register for the exam at www.iicrc.org.
