Fire & Smoke Restoration: Part 1 – Preparing to Process Claims
The purpose of this course is to provide disaster restoration supervisors and technicians with a convenient means for updating their knowledge on fire and smoke damage restoration concepts, principles and procedures at a nominal cost. This online course is intended to supplement training received in the IICRC-approved Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification course. This online course is divided into three programs each of which contains a number of sections or modules.
This three-part program is based on current information from the restoration industry’s comprehensive fire and smoke company training program, “After The Smoke Clears”, published by Clean Care Restoration Academy, Inc. Where appropriate, the information in this course follows the IICRC S100 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Carpet Cleaning and the IICRC S300 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Upholstery Cleaning.
